Discuss.  Dude was pretty creepy in his later days honestly, but no doubt was a good singer/dancer and made some pretty epic songs.

I'm actually on the fence about this one, I like his early stuff but later in life he got a little too bizarre for me. I am sad that he died however and can only hope for the best for his kids.

Ironically, one of the first things that I thought of when I heard the news was "It doesn't matter if you're black or white when you're dead."  It's weird, because he had just started up a new thing to be going on tour in July as his farewell tour.  Fairest condolences to the family and ex-family.  He left his mark on the music world, and music television - THRILLER.

This was a very sad news to the whole world. MJ was a great man, who did great music and is going to be legend, soon the new generations will hear stories how epic MJ was. Although he did have hard times, and media was making them even worse, still... he lived a joyful and great life with full of thrill and beat. To Michael Jackson, my friends! To the King of Pop! LEGEND WILL LIVE IN OUR DREAMS, AND SHALL BE MOONWALKING OVER, AND OVER AGAIN! TO MICHAEL JACKSON!!! AND MICHAEL, DON'T NEVER STOP THE BEAT, THAT ALWAYS MAKES OUR HEART TO DANCE WITH YOU!!! REST IN PEACE!!!   WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU, NEVER!!!!!

This reminded me how crazy and right wing some of my family is. My cousin wrote on her face book that she was glad he was dead since he was a dirty child molester and should burn in hell for doing so. Talk about a crum bum  D:

But may he rest in peace, I'll defiantly dig out my genesis and play Moonwalker while jamming a Thriller cassette in his honor.  :awesomD

Wow, that's kinda messed up. I think he was really weird, not all there, and had a problem with kids toward the end. Still though, gotta respect the man's music.

Half the reason he was the way he was is due to his own messed up childhood and his slavedriver of a father.  I don't blame it all on his dad, since as an adult you still do make choices of your own volition, and most of the creepy crap happened when he was an adult.

Not like it was confirmed true anyway, though. The creepiest verified thing about him was his face, really.

His face gave me the shivers, and whatever you believe about his "proclivities" regarding children true or false, MJ dangled a baby off a balcony. This does not reflect well a healthy mind.

Anyone who would make their face like that obviously doesn't have a healthy mind. Come on.

No arguments here, my general rule of thumb is MJ pre creepy face=awesome, post= D:. He had a rough rough childhood, and he probably needed help that he couldn't get due to celebrity status. So the natural eccentricity that resides in most artistic people went into full blown wacko.

I think with the family issues and being a celebrity combined, it was pretty hard for him to trust people, so it was probably really lonely. I won't say he was "just misunderstood" or anything, but I think people are too hard on him, given his circumstances.

Anyway, that's enough about the depressing/dark side of the matter (since that's not a great way to talk about the dead), what's everyone's favorite MJ song?

For me, it's a toss-up between The Way You Make Me Feel, Bad, In the Closet, and Heal the World.

Maybe that's too many XD

We all know the real reason he was arrested was because he was using the Death Note.

I know, the police don't want the masses to realize the power of the Death Note and attempt to procure it.
