Good thing about it being 4 buttons is it could translate well into stepmania/ddr step charts

At least that is the first thing that pops into mind... no pun intended  :awesome:

Oops, I guess that tag is gone for now. I'll add it back one way or another soonish, although right now I'm drained from playing a really awesome set.

The good thing about this is that it's a prize redemption machine. I hope the local Dave & Busters gets this so I can get all kinds of cool swag for free by playing (massively gimped) Pop'n.

whats the ticket payout rate like?

if i recall, 1 ticket = about 1-2 cents.  think it used to be 2, then they doubled all the prizes in winner's circle to create "inflation", so its like 1 cent now... or something.

haven't stepped in there recently... most ticket games aren't worth playing :-(

I guess we should have figured on them using the Pop'n Wii engine for an arcade game somehow.

For the record, not even I can find a way to defend this one. Just... wow.

Get serious.

Reminds me of the last pop'n they brought over here, the anime pop'n, except one less button.
