Holy crap, TAKA album
« on: 04-20-2007, 14:53 »
http://www.konamistyle.jp/customfactory/djtaka_1st/index.html

The album is called "milestone", and has 2 discs: an originals disc which (if I'm reading correctly) will have 10 or more songs, including:

Quote
Quickening
ABSOLUTE 2007
V
One More Lovely
snow storm
Tomorrow Perfume -vocal version-

Additionally, there will be a remixes disc. I'm not certain whether it's TAKA remixing other people's stuff or other people remixing TAKA's, but it's good either way, because look at the lineup:

Quote
AKIRA YAMAOKA
Aya
dj REMO-CON
DJ Yoshitaka
good-cool
kors k
L.E.D.
NAOKI
Osamu Kubota
Ryu
Sota Fujimori
TaQ
TOMOSUKE
wac

As soon as this becomes available, I'll pick it up for y'all :)

BTW, I'm totally looking forward to Absolute 2007... and are these long versions? If so, OML LONG YAY.

This is true, although Vicious Delicious does present a strong argument counter to your statement, =P

Perhaps because it had words.  Listening to the whole album through from beginning to end is a wonderful experience.  Good work music :3

Haha, too busy being grossed out by Osamu?

With luck Osamu will suddenly pull out a winner like Estella.

You know, the thought of Osamu doing Traces wouldn't be too bad.  Neither would Taka redoing Golden Horn.

Intentional methinks.

I think the idea of osamu kubota doing something like votum stellarum would be very fun ^^

One More Scorpion Fire was okay (although not really an improvement, just an extend), so if Osamu goes for a more instrumental TAKA song it should be fine.

Personally I'm hoping he does V, just because I hate that song anyway.

but by attempting something that is already awesome, it will either STARKLY contrast the other one (and thus make it look amazing) or be pretty darn good.

Umm, but with V, the worst he can do is make V look amazing in contrast. That would be pretty crazy.

Aya removed from the remixer's list due to a death in the family, Nagureo/Tiger Yamato hops in to substitute.

Yeah... apparently his dad died, though, so it can't be helped :(

If we get Tiger Yamato rave-style TAKA, though, awesome.
